Scope and sequence

In order to account for the developmental profiles of students in transitional kindergarten, the Amplify Science TK units are crafted with a unique structure and instructional format relative to the suite of units in the Amplify Science K–5 curriculum. While the three units may be taught in any order, it is highly recommended that the units are implemented in the following sequence:

• Life Science: Wondering About Noises in Trees (during fall in the TK year)
• Physical Science: Wondering About Buildings (during winter in the TK year)
• Earth Science: Wondering About Puddles (during spring in the TK year)
