Enrollment Information

We offer many enrollment options to best suit your needs.

If your district or school uses mCLASS, please visit the mCLASS enrollment guide for options and instructions.

Prepare and Distribute Login Materials

If your students are using QR codes or their mCLASS/Amplify login credentials to access Boost Lectura, you can use your Teacher Dashboard to download their login materials ahead of time.

How to prepare login materials

Follow these steps to access your students’ QR or Amplify login credentials:

  1. Log in to your Teacher Dashboard and click on Class Settings:

  2. Download credentials for the whole class or by individual student.

Note: It can take a few moments to download students' login credentials, but you can continue to use your dashboard while you wait.

How to distribute login materials

Our login cards help make it easier for students to log in to Boost Lectura. When not in use, store the login cards for safekeeping.

Note: We recommend laminating or printing login cards on cardstock to prevent damage.

Student Login

We offer a variety of login methods to support the unique needs of students and classes. Use the recommendations below to choose the best login method for your class:

  • Integrated solutions: Clever, ClassLink, Schoology, District SSO, etc.

    • If your school uses a supported, third-party integration, this is the easiest way to streamline the login experience for your students.

    • Best for: Efficient student login on devices with cameras

    • Not recommended if: Your students’ devices do not have cameras

  • Amplify username and password login (for mCLASS users only)

    • Best for: Students who use mCLASS whose devices do not have cameras

    • Not recommended for: Younger students who do not yet have typing skills; students who also do not use mCLASS

Educator Login

There are two ways you can log in to the educator experience:

Unsure of what method you should use? Ask your administrator about your setup for Boost Lectura.

Usage Recommendations

There are a variety of ways you can use Boost Lectura to support your students’ reading journeys, both in and outside the classroom.

  • Students in Grades K–2 should play Boost Lectura for a total of 30–45 minutes per week, broken up into sessions lasting 10–15 minutes each.

  • And, if using both Boost Lectura and Boost Reading, schools should consider the following when deciding how they are used together: Instructional model, schedule, instructional needs, literacy goals. These considerations will drive further decisions on professional development and lesson planning.

    • In general, we recommend that Boost Reading and/or Boost Lectura be used for approximately 30–45 minutes per week for each student. This may include a combination of Boost Reading and Boost Lectura use for an individual student, depending on their instructional needs and goals. The use of both programs is flexible enough to allow for use in any instructional model.

Note: All active time a student spends in the program is counted for usage reporting in teacher and administrator reporting.

Suggestions for when and how students can use Boost Lectura:

  • During small group or center time

  • During choice time

  • During intervention blocks

  • As part of the SLA/ELA block

  • After school

  • At home

  • During school breaks
