Note: You only need to complete this step the first time your students use Amplify Reading on any device.

We recommend that you create a bookmark on the devices your students will be using, so they have quick and easy access. This could be via Clever, Classlink, Schoology, or Amplify’s website directly.

If your students will be using QR codes or their mCLASS/Amplify login credentials to access Amplify Reading, you can use your Teacher Dashboard to download their login materials ahead of time.

How to distribute login materials

Login cards help make it easier for students to log into Amplify Reading. When not in use, store the login cards for safekeeping.

Note: We recommend laminating or printing login cards on cardstock to prevent damage.

If your school is not set up with a supported, third-party integration, you will need to log in using your Amplify username and password.

When you are ready to log out, just click on your name in the top right corner of your Teacher Dashboard, then click Log Out:

Best for: Efficient student login on devices with cameras.

Not recommended if: Your students’ devices do not have cameras.

QR code login allows students to log in to Amplify Reading quickly and easily by scanning their own unique code. If your students do not use an integrated login option, or do not use mCLASS, they MUST use a QR code to access Amplify Reading.

QR codes can be printed on login cards, which should be distributed to students.

Note: This login method is only available for students who use mCLASS.

Best for: Students who use mCLASS whose devices do not have cameras.

Not recommended for: Younger students who do not have typing skills yet; students who do not use mCLASS.

Amplify Reading/mCLASS username and password login allows students to access Amplify Reading using login credentials generated from the Teacher Dashboard for users enrolled via mCLASS.

Like most programs, it’s important for students to log out when they are finished with a session of Amplify Reading. We make every effort to ensure that all data on student usage and progress is saved, but these important practices will ensure that data is saved properly.
