Amplify now has a single entryway for educators (Educator Home) as well as for students (Student Home) for the new school year.

After logging in, you’ll arrive at Educator Home, where you’ll find a new, streamlined way to access your assessment, reporting, and instructional tools. Educator Home may appear different depending on your institution’s licensed products.

Note: The first time you log in to Amplify, you will land on Educator Home. If you navigate to one of your programs and log out, the next time you log in, you'll be directed to the same program page you logged out from.

The Amplify navigation displays across the top of the page and includes the Home icon, Programs & Apps icon, and My Account icon.

Programs & Apps contains links to your Amplify programs. In the Tools section are links to tools such as mCLASS Groups and mCLASS Assessment Importer. In the Other Resources section, you’ll find the Amplify PD Library, where you can download student materials and access training courses, and the mCLASS Resources, where you can access how-to guides and research materials.

When you click your name next to the My Account icon in the Amplify navigation, your username, the My Account link, and Logout link display. Click My Account to go to My Account, or click Logout to log out of Amplify.

When you navigate to My Account, Classes displays. The left menu contains links to Classes, Programs & Licenses, Account Settings, and Help Center.

Click the avatar icon to change your avatar characteristics to personalize it. Your students also have this feature on Student Home. Click Student Home to see a preview of what your students see when they log in. (Please note that this preview is only for Student Home. To preview the student assessment platform, you'll need to log in as a student.)

Go to Your Programs to access mCLASS and any other Amplify programs your institution has. Click mCLASS to navigate to the mCLASS platform.

Review the notifications in the Recommendations area to see what’s new in mCLASS.

Click the chat icon to open the Amplify chat panel. You can send a message to Amplify Customer Care and Support, view your message history, or search for articles about Amplify products.

mCLASS students will arrive at Student Home after logging in. From Student Home, your students can complete assigned mCLASS assessments.

Important: Student Home may appear different depending on your students’ grade level and the Amplify products your institution uses.

Note: The first time students log in to Amplify, they land on Student Home. If they navigate to the student assessment platform and log out, the next time they log in, they are directed to the student assessment platform.

The Student navigation displays across the top of the page and includes the student's name, the backpack icon and Log out icon.

When students log in, they complete a daily “vibe check” poll before landing on Student Home. Their poll result displays next to their avatar, along with the To-do and Past Work buttons and today’s date.

Students can click their avatar to edit the characteristics and personalize it. The Avatar builder for K–5 students has a time limit of 2 minutes. After this time has elapsed, students are prompted to save and they are returned to Student Home.

The Assignment stream displays current or past assignments. Students click To-do to display the stream of current assignments or Past Work to view completed assignments. Some assignments such as mCLASS Assessment are pinned; they remain in the stream and cannot be marked complete.

Each assignment is on a card that shows the program, Unit or Lesson information (if relevant), and due date (if one is set). Students click an assignment card to open the assignment, or click the green check to mark the assignment complete.

To navigate to mCLASS student assessment, students click Go on the mCLASS Complete assessments card.

These are assignments that the student has marked complete or that have passed the teacher-set due date. If your institution uses mCLASS only, students will not have Past Work.

The Welcome panel displays a greeting to the student. The student can click the avatar icon to change the characteristics of their avatar and personalize it.

Students go to the Assignments stream to view and access the list of their assignments. If your institution has multiple Amplify programs and you would like more information about Assignments, please see the Student Home article.

To navigate to mCLASS student assessment, students click Start on the mCLASS Complete assessments card.
