Summary table

The Summary table provides a clear view of student rubric scores for each item.

Items with the highest scores are displayed in the left column, while items with the lowest scores appear in the right column.

Hover over the standard to view the details, or hover over the rubric scores to see which students were in a certain category. You can view the related standards by hovering over the standard. If there are ungraded responses, a Warning icon displays.

Click View details to see the Teacher Dashboard, where you can see detailed student responses and grade work. Learn more about assessment grading in the Teacher Dashboard.

Results table

The Results table displays scores for individual students. You can switch between organizing the data by standard or item.

Turn on Sort by items to change from standards view to item view.

Standards View

View students’ scores organized by standard. This view is helpful to see student performance on a particular standard or to use for standards-based grading.

You can sort each column to view the student scores and organize them from ungraded work to exceeding scores (or vice versa). This sort shows which students are exceeding at a specific standard and which need more support.

Item View

View students’ scores organized by item. This view lets you see which students need more support on a certain item.

Overall score configuration

The rubric score is mapped to a percentage, offering an overall score. If an item is ungraded, the overall score will not be calculated until the teacher completes grading. The default mapping is as follows:

  • 0% - No work

  • 50% - Beginning

  • 70% - Developing

  • 90% - Meeting

  • 100% - Exceeding

Customize the mapping to configure the overall score.

  1. Click Configure overall score (%).

  2. Enter the scores to map the rubric scores to percentages for grading purposes.

  3. Click Update Overall Score.

Customized Assessments

You can also copy and customize assessments in Amplify Desmos Math. When you customize an assessment, it will display in the Assessment Report, but not the Standards Report. Learn more about the Standards Report.

Customizing assessments can change the related standards, and those assessments may no longer be accurate for reporting purposes. However, you can still view scores for customized assessments organized by item in the Results table, and use them to understand student performance.
