mCLASS released Zonas de crecimiento in March 2024 as part of mCLASS Lectura Progress reporting to help educators set meaningful and attainable individual student goals and to measure progress relative to other students in the same grade with the same initial reading skills.
Educators may now view the Growth Outcomes report to see how students grew from their BOY performance based on their EOY assessment results. Additionally, national norm percentiles, semester growth, and year growth are available for EOY 2023–2024 in the RAS Download Your Data (DYD) report for mCLASS Lectura.
In 2024–2025 after BOY assessment, educators will be able to set student goals; after MOY assessment, growth analysis will help teachers evaluate the effectiveness of instruction and intervention in helping students to achieve their goals.
