There are many different ways to log into Amplify Reading -- this guide will help you find the best method for you and your students.

Educator Login
There are several ways you can log into the educator experience:
Educator login: integrated solutions (recommended)
If your school uses a supported third party integration (Clever, ClassLink, LMS, or District SSO) with Amplify Reading, this is the easiest way to streamline your login experience.
Unsure if you can use this method? Ask your administrator if this is your set up for Amplify Reading.
Educator login: mCLASS DIBELS Next
Navigate to mclass.amplify.com (SSO users should navigate to their district's assigned SSO URL).
Log in with your Amplify credentials or through SSO.
Click on the Instruction tab of your class reports to access your Teacher Dashboard.
Navigate to the desired class or group.
Educator login: mCLASS with DIBELS 8th Edition
Navigate to mclass.amplify.com (SSO users should navigate to their district's assigned SSO URL).
Log in with your Amplify credentials or through SSO.
Once you have logged in, click the mCLASS: Amplify Reading Edition tile.
Click the Amplify Reading button on the top banner to access your Teacher Dashboard.
Navigate to the desired class or group.
Educator Login: Amplify username and password
You can also log into the teacher dashboard directly through the Amplify site:
Navigate to my.amplify.com and click Username & Password Login.
Click Login with Amplify and enter your login credentials.
Clicking Log In will take you to your account homepage; click on the Amplify Reading K–5 icon to access your dashboard.
Student login: Recommendations and step-by-step instructions

Student login: QR codes
Note: This login method requires supported, camera-enabled devices.
Best for: Efficient, remote-friendly, young student login on camera-enabled devices
Not recommended if: Your students do not have camera-enabled devices
QR Code Login allows students to log in to Amplify Reading quickly and easily by scanning their own unique code. This solution is ideal for students who might have difficulty remembering usernames and passwords. QR codes can be printed on login cards, which should be distributed to students.

How to set up QR code login and print student QR login cards
Log in to your teacher dashboard.
Click Class Settings.
Here you can download credentials for the whole class as a zip file with individual printable PDFs for each student.
You can also click the Download buttons next to your students' names to create individual login sheets (we recommend sending individual sheets home for remote learning).
Note: It can sometimes take a few moments to download all students' login credentials, but you can continue to use your dashboard while you wait:
Distributing QR Login Cards
QR login cards should be distributed to students for login. When not in use, it is recommended that login cards be stored in a central location, such a desk drawer, for safekeeping.
Note: We recommend laminating or printing QR cards on cardstock to prevent damage.
Student Login with QR Codes: Step-by-step guide
Have your students navigate to or use a bookmark to access reading.amplify.com.
Select QR Code Log In. This will bring the student to the QR scan page.
Click Allow to enable camera access to Amplify Reading (this should only be required one time per device).
Note: Request wording may vary, depending on browser
If you see an error message, click here to learn how to change your browser’s media permissions (enable camera access).
Scan QR Login Card.
Upon successful login, students will gain access to Amplify Reading.
Student login: Amplify username and password
Best for: Students logging in at home without camera-enabled devices, or older students who know how to type
Not recommended for: Younger students who do not yet have typing skills
Amplify Reading/mCLASS username/password login allows students to accessAmplify Reading using login credentials generated from the teacher dashboard for users enrolled via mCLASS.
Setting up username/password login for your students
Log in to your teacher dashboard.
Click Class Settings.

Student login with usernames/passwords: Step-by-step guide
Have your students navigate to or use a bookmark to access reading.amplify.com.
Click Username & Password Login.
Click Log In with Amplify
Type in login credentials and click Log In to launch Amplify Reading.
Student login: Amplify Reading Class login
Note: Class login can only be used on school- or district-approved devices. Because class login displays lists of student names, a teacher or administrator needs to authorize the update with their mCLASS credentials on every device used for Amplify Reading. This login method is therefore not recommended for remote learning.
Best for: Efficient, in-class young student login on devices without a camera
Not Recommended if: Your students have camera-enabled devices; your students are using personal devices
Enabling Class Login allows students to type in their class code and then click on their names to log in. You can find your class or group code on your teacher dashboard and use this flyer to help students remember the code.

How to Enable Class Login
Go to reading.amplify.com and click Enable Class Login on the Amplify Reading login screen.
Use your Amplify login credentials to enable class login on each device.
Once a device has been enabled, students can log in using their class code.
Note: If you ever want to change to a different login system, just click Disable Class Login from the login screen of each device and authorize the change with your Amplify credentials:
How to find your class code:
Log in to your Teacher Dashboard.
Click on Class Settings to find your class code.
Note: We recommend writing your class code on this flyer and placing it near where your devices are kept.
Student login with class codes: Step-by-step guide
Use the number pad to enter class code
Students should find, and then click on their names to automatically log into Amplify Reading
Note: If students have the same name, the last 3 digits of their student IDs are appended to their last names.

When you are ready to log out, just click on your name in the top right corner of your Teacher Dashboard, then click Log Out:

Like most programs, it is important for students to log out when they are finished with a session of Amplify Reading. We make every effort to ensure all data on student usage and progress is saved no matter what, but these important practices will ensure that data is saved properly.
Grades K–3
Students should exit their game or quest to go back to the Bookerton map
From the map, click the log out button (door icon next to their name) in the top left corner:
