Fluency Practice uses the scientifically proven theory of spaced repetition to help students learn math facts. Every flashcard contains meaningful visualizations to help students make sense of the problem. The visualizations use Polypad virtual manipulatives. Students can interact with these manipulatives on many of the cards as a helpful scaffold to learn the given fact. Based on where each student is in learning their facts, the program automatically selects the personalized practice set for each student for each day.

Fluency Practice has a separate Teacher Dashboard apart from the teacher tools in Desmos Classroom. On the Fluency Practice dashboard, teachers are able to assign any of the flashcard sets to students and view student progress.
