Amplify CKLA 2nd Edition and Amplify CKLA 3rd Edition are available in both digital and print experiences. Regardless of your classroom implementation, it is important to know which edition you have because a number of program features work differently (or are unique). Here’s how to tell if you have access to the 3rd edition.
Determine which edition you have using:
Digital materials
Once you click into a program, it will become clear which edition you have. If you see “Amplify CKLA Pilot” as the page title and your classes display in a list, then you are accessing Amplify CKLA 3rd Edition.
If the Amplify navigation bar says “CKLA” and “Curriculum”, then you are accessing Amplify CKLA 2nd Edition.
Another way to determine which edition you have access to is by reviewing your teacher materials. Navigate to any lesson in the curriculum. Upon choosing a lesson from the Unit Overview page, you’ll land on the Lesson Brief. This is where it will become clear which edition you’re accessing!
Do you see a section for “Teacher Presentation Screens”? If so, you are accessing Amplify CKLA 3rd Edition!
Don’t see “Teacher Presentation Screens”? If not, then you are accessing Amplify CKLA 2nd Edition.
Print materials
If your district adopted a print experience, the materials in your kit can help you determine which edition you have.
Locate any teacher guide in your kit. Reviewing the cover can help you determine which edition you have.
Do you see the grade level in the upper right of the guide cover? If so, you have Amplify CKLA 3rd Edition!
If the grade level is listed at the bottom of your guide cover, you have Amplify CKLA 2nd Edition.
