Once you have navigated to your Amplify Desmos Math curriculum, you can see all of the units in your course.
Click on a unit.
After clicking on the unit, you will see a scrollable page with a Unit Overview, Unit Story (for K–5), Pre-Unit Check, Sub-Unit Quizzes, End-Unit Assessments and additional differentiation resources.
On the left, you will see a list of dropdown options that will tell you more about specific features of the unit when you click on them.

Units contain:
Unit Overview
The Unit Overview describes what students will learn in the unit and contains essential questions students will need to be able to answer.
It provides a topline outline for the unit, lists important Vocabulary words, specifically details the standards that will be covered in the Unit, and has PDFs for Paper Resources.
Unit Story
The Unit Story page provides the narrative that the unit will revolve around. It has a read-aloud PDF and thumbnails of the Teacher Presentation Screens. Teachers can Preview or Present from this page.
Unit Stories are only available for K–5 in Amplify Desmos Math.
Pre-Unit Check
Teachers can assess their students’ understanding of foundational concepts and skills that will support them in the unit with Pre-Unit Checks.
Lessons
Each unit contains lessons that are divided into Sub-units. Lessons within a Sub-unit are organized around a central learning goal.
Sub-Unit Quiz
Sub-Unit Quizzes allow teachers to evaluate students’ proficiency with the key concepts and skills addressed in the Sub-Unit.
End-of-Unit Assessment
End-of-Unit Assessments allow teachers to learn about their students’ understanding of concepts and skills as they complete a unit.

Differentiation
Boost Personalized Learning, Fluency Practice, Math Adventures, Mini-Lessons, and Extensions are Amplify Desmos Math’s differentiation features that teachers can use to support, strengthen, and stretch students’ learning. Centers are also available for K–5.
