Invite your staff members to enroll in Admin Portal

If you are an administrator with system or enrollment permissions, you can invite staff members to enroll in the Admin Portal. When a staff member accepts their invite, they can set their own Amplify password or log in with Google. After setting up their account, staff members are automatically enrolled in the school assigned to them during the invitation process and have access to their classes.

The ability to manage staff invites will be released in coming weeks.

You can still create new staff accounts using Batch Upload or on the Staff list page. Amplify recommends using Batch Upload if you’re adding a large number of staff members.


Inviting staff

Administrators can invite staff members to enroll.

  1. From the Staff list page, navigate to the Enrolled staff tab, click New staff and select Invite staff from the menu.

    The Invite staff panel displays.

  2. Enter the email addresses for the staff members. You can enter up to 30 email addresses.

  3. Press the Return key.

  4. Click Add.

  5. Set a school for each staff member.
    If there is only one school in the district, it auto-populates in the school field.

    If you manage more than one school, choose a school for each staff member from the drop-down list.

    Staff members must be invited to each school they should enroll in. Reenter the email address to add an additional row for each school.

  6. Click Send invites.

    The staff members will receive an email inviting them to join Amplify. If they have an existing account, they can sign in to Amplify using the email associated with their account. If not, they should sign up for a new account.

  7. A confirmation displays an invitation message.

    Optionally click Copy invite message to share it with the invited staff members through your preferred communication method.

  8. Manage and view the status of invites in the Pending staff tab.

After staff members have accepted their invites, they will appear in the Enrolled staff tab, and their invite is removed from the Pending staff tab.


Troubleshooting

If a staff member’s email address is already associated with the school you selected, confirm their information. If their information is correct and they’re enrolled in the school with that email, click the Recycle bin icon to remove.
