Logging into Desmos Classroom as an Amplify user

If you’re logging into Desmos Classroom as an Amplify educator for the first time, we’re here to help you.

Use your Amplify username and password to easily access your Class Roster page from your other products, or leverage single session codes to get new students into our free collections of digital lessons and activities.

You can either sign in on Desmos Classroom with your Amplify credentials or through Educator Home. Learn more below!

Logging in with your Amplify credentials

If you’re an existing Amplify customer, log in through Desmos Classroom by clicking Sign In on the top-right corner of the page.

Next, select Sign in with Amplify. Log in using your Amplify credentials to access over 200 free lessons and activities in Desmos Classroom.

Accessing from Educator Home

K–5 Science, CKLA, and Boost Reading educators might see a recommendation in Educator Home. If you see a recommendation, you can click Go and be brought straight to Desmos Classroom without having to log in.

Assigning lessons as an Amplify user

Assigning a lesson

Once you log in, you’ll want to assign your first lesson. When you click on a lesson, you will see an Assign option. Some activities are Teacher Presentation only, and cannot be assigned.

You can assign the lessons to any of your classes by either selecting Assign to Your Classes or by selecting Single Session Code.

If you select Assign to Your Classes, then your digital roster(s) will appear.

If you want to assign lessons to students who aren’t in your roster (for example, if you’re tutoring a smaller group of students), then you can assign lessons by using single session codes.

You and your students can go to student.desmos.com and enter in the single session code, or you can copy and share the link with them directly.
