Feedback

Teachers are now able to give feedback in the form of comments for all student work.

Teacher experience

After students complete classwork, the teacher can select a problem in the Scores tab.

The teacher should then select the Comments tab. A dialog box will appear below the problem that was previously selected.

After writing the feedback, the teacher should select Save. This will automatically send the feedback to the student.

A Feedback sent pop-up will appear in the lower-right corner of the screen.

Additionally, a small dialog box icon will appear next to the selected problem in the Comments tab confirming that the feedback was sent.

After sending feedback the first time, the teacher can resend the same feedback or an updated version by clicking the purple Resend feedback button in the lower-right corner of the screen.

Student experience

Students will know they have feedback on an assessment’s problem when a Teacher Feedback blue window appears in the upper-right corner of that problem’s screen.

To access the feedback, students can click the expand icon in the Teacher Feedback blue window.

The teacher’s feedback will appear in the Teacher Feedback blue window.

Custom scoring

Teachers can add a 10-character string for a custom score for assessments. Custom scores can be downloaded as a CSV file for internal grading.

To access the Custom Score column, the teacher should select the Classwork page and then click the Activities tab.

Students will see the custom score appear in the Teacher Feedback blue window.

Custom scores only work for assessments and are not accessible in lessons. They do not reflect in reporting.
