Lesson at a Glance
The Lesson at a Glance section offers a visual summary of the lesson's activities and the option to preview the accompanying slides.
New classroom slides content
The Amplify Science K–5 slides now include optional routines for eliciting and leveraging students’ prior knowledge, personal experiences, and cultural backgrounds. An overview of these routines is already included under Printable Resources on each unit’s Unit Overview page, but the lesson-specific guidance is also now reflected in the appropriate lesson’s slides.
Possible Responses PDF
Student’s possible responses are available in a new PDF that mirrors the look of the Investigation Notebook pages, with illustrated diagrams, models, and expected Sim uses included where appropriate. The PDFs are located at the unit level (within the Printable Resources section of the Unit Overview).
Possible Responses PDFs are available for the first unit of each grade level on July 1. Subsequent units will be released on a rolling basis through the 2023–2024 school year.
