Migrating from the Amplify LTI 1.1 to LTI 1.3 app in Schoology

Follow these steps to migrate from the Amplify LTI 1.1 to LTI 1.3 app in Schoology.

These steps must be completed by a District Administrator.

Note: If you are using Common Cartridge, all cartridges will need to be regenerated before migrating to the Amplify Learning Tools Interoperability® (LTI®) 1.3 app. Please contact help@amplify.com before completing this migration.

The steps in this article show you how to remove the Amplify LTI 1.1 app.

  1. Log into your Schoology Admin account.

  2. If you use sub-accounts, be sure to select the account in question.

  3. Click the Apps icon, scroll to the bottom of the options, and click App Center. Then, select Organization Apps.

  4. Find the app configuration for Amplify LTI 1.1. Click the Install/Remove button in that row.

  5. In the pop-up window that appears, clear the checks from any users and/or user groups that had previously been selected. Then, click Submit.

To complete the migration, add the Amplify LTI 1.3 app using the instructions in this help article: District Setup for LTI 1.3 App for Schoology.
