Overview: What is the Resource Library?

Amplify Reading gives you access to a robust library of teacher-led instructional resources that you can use with your students to supplement their time in the program. Every potential trouble spot in the adaptive learning map has a corresponding instructional resource linked to it: No matter which subskill your student might need extra help with, there’s an instructional resource that’s targeted to their exact needs available in your Teacher Dashboard.

How to use the Resource Library

There are two ways you can access our library of instructional resources:

  • By using the Trouble Spots sections of your Teacher Dashboard

  • By clicking on the Resource Library button on the navigation bar at the top of the screen

Targeted practice: Trouble spots

Because the Resource Library is directly aligned with adaptive skill map, every trouble spot has at least one (but often more!) instructional resource linked to it. Your Teacher Dashboard makes it easy to find the right resources for any trouble spots your students might encounter.

The Insights page includes a newsfeed of your students’ recent trouble spots; click on any student’s name in the feed to pull up detailed information about the subskill they are struggling with, along with links to view and download printable PDFs of the aligned instructional resources and activities.

You can also view your students’ trouble spots using Student Detail view. Just open the Trouble Spots tab to see details about a student’s current and past trouble spots, and download printable PDFs of the aligned instructional resources and activities.

Browse the full library: Navigation bar

If you want to browse the full library of instructional resources, just use the Resource Library button on the navigation bar at the top of the screen:

The library is browsable by domain, organized by skills, references aligned games, and includes links to easily download and print activities to use with your students.

There is also a search feature that allows you to browse the library by domain, skill, or game to easily find the right resources at the right time:
