Amplify CKLA E-books bring the complete library of Student Readers to your classroom in an interactive digital format. The e-books are compatible with all classroom technology such as tablets, digital whiteboards, laptops, and desktops.
E-books open in the Amplify Hub. You can access the Hub from your Educator Home or from the Teacher Resource Site. The e-books are also available in the digital experience lesson slides, or as a PDF in the Materials section within the unit.
From Educator Home, access the Hub through the Programs & Apps menu.
From the Teacher Resource Site:
If you have access to more than one grade, select the grade.
Click Daily Instruction.
Select the Skills unit.
Click E-book and Audiobook in the left menu.
Click Open E-book App. The E-book will open in the eReader in a new tab. Learn more about the eReader.
Use the e-books in conjunction with (or in place of) traditional print editions.
You can also use the read-aloud feature to provide a multimedia learning experience during whole- or small-group instruction and partner-read activities.
Spanish Readers
Amplify CKLA has Spanish translations of Grades 3–5 Readers available. The Spanish Readers are available as downloadable, printable files in the Materials section within the given unit, and in e-book format on the Amplify Hub Biblioteca.
The eReaders are meant to be used flexibly to support a variety of dual language instructional models (dual language, immersion, etc.) and student needs.
Not all readers are available in Spanish at this time.
