How are words delivered and mastered?

Hitting the Go button takes students to activities for the first set of words. (For more information, see the Amplify Vocabulary Activities article.)

Generally each word contains multiple activities but only one activity is delivered for a word each day. The remaining activities are delivered when the word is next scheduled to be encountered by the student. If the initial activity for a word is done correctly, the student will see another activity for the word in 2 days. If the initial activity for a word is done incorrectly, the student will see another activity for the word in less than a day.

The dots next to a word indicate correct activities in a row. Each correct activity in a row will result in one orange dot for a word. One incorrect activity for a word will reset all the word's dots, i.e. the student will restart the word. Once a word has been answered correctly 3 times in a row, it is considered mastered, and the three dots next to it will be orange in the student's word list.
