We recommend students use their class code to log in to Amplify Reading, but they can also use their usernames and passwords to log in at school or at home. Follow the steps below to retrieve/generate student credentials.
Note: If your students typically use SSO to log in to programs at school, they can do the same to log in to Amplify Reading in school or at home.
Go to mclass.amplify.com, enter your Amplify username and password, and click Log In.
On mCLASS Home, go to the global navigation bar and click the Classes & Groups icon.
The Classes & Groups page opens. Click Classes. Choose the district and school for which you are generating the login credentials from the drop-down lists.
Note: If your students do not already have usernames and passwords, follow the steps below. Otherwise, skip to Step 5.
Click your class.
Click the Student Logins button.
From here, you can create:
- username/password pairs for every student in the class by clicking Create All at the top of the table.
- credentials for a single student by clicking Create to the right of his or her name.
Note that once logins have been created for all the students in the class, Create All is no longer available as an option.
Click Print All to generate a printer friendly download of the student login credentials. Note: If you do not assess with mCLASS, please cut off the mCLASS column before distribution.
Students can use these credentials to log in to Amplify Reading at reading.amplify.com.
Students click the Student Log In button, then enter their username and password on the screen below:
To encourage students to play at home, consider adding their credentials to the parent letters below, available in the following languages:
