Logging In to mCLASS

How do I log in to assess or view mCLASS reports? How do my students log in?

Updated over a week ago

This article shows how teachers and students can access mCLASS when logging in to learning.amplify.com. It is intended for educators and students who log in with Amplify or single sign-on (SSO).

If your educators and students log in through a learning management system (LMS) to access your programs, open mCLASS through that platform.

Educator login

  1. Click the login method used by your school or district. If you used Amplify usernames and passwords last year and haven’t been notified of a change in login methods, click Log In with Amplify.

Otherwise, log in with one of these methods:

    • Log In with Google (using a district-provided email address and password, authenticated through Google)

    • Log In with Clever (using your Clever username and password, authenticated through Clever)

    • SSO login (using an email address or username and password provided by your district or state, authenticated through a method of their choosing)

  2. If prompted, enter your account username and password.

  3. Educator Home opens and displays all your Amplify programs, including mCLASS.

  4. Click mCLASS to open mCLASS reporting. You can access assessments by clicking the Assessment tab.

Student login

  1. Direct the student to learning.amplify.com.

  2. Click the login method used by your school or district. If you used Amplify usernames and passwords last year and haven’t been notified of a change in login methods, click Log In with Amplify.

Otherwise, log in with one of these methods:

    • Log In with Google (using a district-provided email address and password, verified through Google)

    • Log In with Clever (using a Clever ID code or username and password, verified through Clever)

    • Scan QR Code (using a previously generated and distributed Amplify QR Code, authenticated through Amplify) This method is currently unavailable for students enrolled through mCLASS SSE or mCLASS Admin unless they are also enrolled in an Amplify curriculum program or have access to Boost Reading.

  3. If prompted, enter the student’s credentials.

  4. Student Home opens and displays all your student's programs.

    • Students in Grades K–5 should look for mCLASS and click Start to open online assessment.

    • Students in Grade 6 should find mCLASS under My Assignments and click Start to open online assessment.
