How do I prepare to assess my students with mCLASS?

Updated over a week ago

This article describes how to access your Amplify login credentials on your supported device.

Getting started

Note: If you log in to Amplify using Google or Clever Single Sign-On (SSO), or a Learning Management System (LMS: Canvas, Schoology, etc.), your school or district leader should have already provided your system username and password. The information in this section pertains only to customers who log in with Amplify credentials.

When your Amplify account is created during enrollment, you will receive an email message from Amplify that contains the information for first-time login.

  • If you don’t see this message in your inbox, check your junk or spam folder.

  • If you didn’t receive this message, notify the enrollment contact at your institution.

Follow the instructions in this message to log in to Amplify at learning.amplify.com and reset your password.

Troubleshooting

These steps apply only to staff members who log in with Amplify-created usernames and passwords. If you use Clever or Google SSO or an LMS to log in and need help accessing your mCLASS assessments or reports, contact your school or district enrollment administrator.

I don’t know where Amplify sent the email with my account information.

Ask your school or district enrollment administrator to verify the email address used to create your Amplify account. Then go to learning.amplify.com and click Login with Amplify. On the page that opens, click Forgot password?, enter the email address, and click Send Email. Follow the email instructions to access your account.

I don’t know my password.

Go to learning.amplify.com and click Login with Amplify. On the page that opens, click Forgot password?, enter your email address, and click Send Email. Follow the email instructions to change your password and access your account.

I no longer have access to the email account used to create my Amplify account.

If you no longer have access to the email address used to create your Amplify account, your school or district enrollment contact can change it. When your new address is entered in the system, you will receive an email message from Amplify with instructions for logging in.

Note: Amplify does not have access to staff passwords. If you need help beyond the instructions provided here, you will need to resolve your password-related issues with the support of your school or district.
